Honestly, some people have no sense of humor. Like Cady, for instance. Well, she has a sense of humor, but it’s her own brand of obnoxious humor that no one else thinks is very funny. She’s just so…difficult! Did you know she practices being impossible?
It’s weird, because none of the rest of us have that mean streak, and you and dad are sweethearts, so where did she come from? She’s always angry about something. She used to yell at me on a daily basis for stupid little things like using up all the butter or leaving a dirty plate on the counter. She’s such a neat freak!
I know I’m being hard on her, and I do love her, but I have to admit I’m glad I don’t live with her anymore. She used to tease Ethan mercilessly, too — you know how sloppy he can be, and he’s so laid-back, but he wants to be a star athlete, so she’d poke and berate him all the time, saying things like, “Yeah, like the Sim City Llamas are going to hire YOU — all you do is sit in the hot tub with the MAID!”
Oh well. I’m worried about her. She’s so competitive and focused and angry that she’s going to have a heart attack one of these days.
As for Ethan, he took all of her browbeating pretty well, but I don’t think he enjoyed his senior year as much as he did his junior year. He seemed kind of withdrawn. Friendly as always, but keeping everyone at arm’s length.
I think it’s because he was having problems with Kaylynn. They used to be attached at the lips, but she started spending more time in the dance sphere than with Ethan.
So Ethan concentrated more on school and his athletic training. He still kept his easygoing attitude, but he was simply more disciplined, and even Cady couldn’t find anything to criticize.
Oh, and he taught Darren how to dance. I wish you could have seen THAT.

Aw, I hope Marlee finds someone perfect for her. That’s so funny about Professor Tellerman crushing on Trent! Is it easier for Sims to develop crushes on each other with Nightlife?

Isn’t it a relief when you finish university? Right now, I have three of my prosperity challenge kids at college and it is getting so tedious. (I’m actually a bit bored…lol!) Well, enough about that…I love Marlee’s character; I hope we get to see more of her and that she finds Mr. Right.
Marlee is sweet. I hope the right Sim for her turns up eventually!
You do a great job with keeping the uni bits interesting. I must agree with cpowell–I find putting my Sims through uni so tedious. My legacy heir has been stuck there for about two weeks now, because I play it for 10 minutes and can’t take it anymore!

Marlee deserves a fantastic Sim to sweep her off her feet. I like Marlee I hope she finds a love that will be her own.

:lol: WOW talk about a good update. The scenes were described so well and they went with the picture like a puzzle. Darnit! Your work is amazing. I so happy that you are participating in nanowrimo because that story that you wrote..i dont know when, was GREAT. The one about the woman and the man and the bottle of champagne. Haha even though you havent finished it, i was hooked. And i still think about it. Are you ever going to finish that story because it was great. More than great, fantastic, more than that..it was..AWESOME. hah. Anyway im gonna go and stop being a nuisance haha. Have fun this weekend! Dont wear yourself out!

What a lovely update! Marlee has such a nice personality – it’s a pity no one else seems to appreciate it. Ah well – I’m sure she’ll find true love eventually. All your kids are so good looking, especially with the lovely hairstyles you’ve got for them.

Marlee is such a sweetie! I love the name generator site you use. I will have to use that for my legacy too if I’m stuck on names. Marlee’s name suits her so well.

I love Marlee’s “little green man from outer space†impression. I guess that would freak me out if I was a guy too, lol. Marlee is gonna find the right guy and I bet he will be gorgeous! I think Darren has to stop hiding in the corner, we don’t hear much about him and it bugs me, :P.
Cady is still my favorite even though she is the mean one. I think I used the name Cady for a teen in one of my 1st families because I was currently obsessed with the movie Mean Girls. How ironic huh, Cady is the main character in Mean Girls and your Cady is mean….yeah I’ll stop rambling, lol.

Jen, I really wonder how you are able to take such great pictures – I’m delighted everytime :) – I think it was funny seeing Gary again, I do remember him dearly as he gave you your only Alien Baby with the Shanleys :) – he was a good guy after all, but Marlee’s right – it’s not the right one for her. I’d go with a red-head – don’t ask me why *g*.
But I’m really eager about seeing a gen 2 baby – finally! Honestly I believe the next update will feature a wedding *hope*!
And maybe a blond baby (I am so happy that Rhia is blond *lol* – after all those ‘blackheads’ :D)
