I had my own trouble with her later on, when I told her I was going out to dinner with Tristen, and she said, “Professor Tristen? You’re going out with Professor Tristen? But…she’s such a nerd! A total hippie nerd! We laugh at her all through freshman lecture.”
Well, that really ticked me off. I didn’t speak to her for almost a week afterwards. I should say some good things about her, though, because 1) she’s my sister, and 2) she’s not all bad. She loves to tidy things up and keep everything sparkling for us. She’s a good complement to Ethan — he messes up the kitchen making our meals, and she cleans up afterwards.
She’s also a hard worker, like you said, and takes her classes very seriously (when she’s not laughing at my girlfriend). She exercised just as much as I did this semester — we finally bought a weight-lifting machine so we don’t have to go to the gym, and she was on that thing constantly. She really pushes herself.
I think she just has very high standards for herself and others, and a strong competitive streak. Or maybe I’m analyzing her too much. Heh. You’d think I was the Psych major.
One person who is really good at handling Cady is Arielle. It’s probably because they were so close growing up. Nothing Cady does fazes her. She just takes it.
I haven’t spent enough time with Arielle to give you a pseudo-psychological analysis of her yet. She reminds me a lot of Marlee in that she makes friends easily and is nice to everyone. She’s also into music and used some of her scholarship money to buy a guitar. I think she can play a few Beatles songs now. Or maybe they’re Pink Floyd songs. It’s hard to tell.
She also stares out the window a lot. I’m not sure why.
At any rate, all three freshman made the dean’s list first and second semester, so you can be proud of them. You can be proud of the rest of us, too — I think we all still have a 4.0. Well, I may have slipped to a 3.9, but I have a good excuse. OK, maybe not a good excuse, but it’s an excuse.
Ahem.

Yep, Kaylynn was in the Shanley Legacy, but she only had 5 kids. ;-) I don’t know if Ethan will marry her or not — he just really wanted to woohoo with someone, and he and Kaylynn clicked.

Wow…Kaylynn. She’s definitely without a doubt my favorite NPC in the game. There’s just something about her that I love. Of course, she’s married into my Hampton family, and I’m really not looking forward to her passing…But oh well! :-) I, personally, think that Kaylynn would be a great addition to the Ravelo family, but of course I have alterior reasons. ;-) I love the letters, Jen! They’re a great way to update us (and the family) on what’s going on with their college life. It’s much more personal! Keep up the good work, Jen! I can’t wait for more!

I still haven’t gotten around to updating my own blog. I haven’t really played much, though I do have a few projects. Maybe I should give the whole Legacy thing yet another go, hmmm.

I’m so happy you are updating so often. I’m in love with this family and all of the kids! They have such distint and intersesting personalities. Have you decided which one is going to be your legacy heir yet?
I like Kaylin a lot, I had her in my first Legacy (and since number two sets in the same neighbourhood, she can’t come back). She makes very pretty children though, so I like her!!
Fantastic I love how you are updating with the letter thing..very creative. Well it seems like the 2 older sons have NPC grilfriends so how are the girls dealing with all that kissing in the house :lol:

You started the laugh factory again with the pictures of Ethan and Kaylynn. My husband looked over at the computer and shouted “Get a Room!” I laughed because that was the caption I had just read. Then he said because they really were computer characters, that they should instead “get a rom!” My husband is a geek though, so it’s acceptable. Trent is such a good looking sim, I think he could make a great heir, but…I wonder what his and tristan’s children would look like? Maybe a really ugly family? I would hope not though. I ditto, ditto, ditto the responses to the letter style. I love it. Thanks again for another update so soon…. 8)
Haha i laughed through this whole update and it took me FOREVER to finish it because i loved the way this was written. classicly wonderfull. I love it. I hate beng late reading your updates because then i feel underpriveledged..:lol: isnt that sad? I dont know why. My mind just goes..what? Updated yesterday? You are underpriveladged. And then reading the update furthers this because i think everyone else has read it and im the only one who hasnt…its crazy. I love Trent and Ethan. they are so handsome. You picked some great genes this time around. And you captured Trent’s personality so well in this update. With his..hot date tweed jacket. haha.

Well, Ethan and Kaylynn really seem to like each other! I love Kaylynn – she’s one of my favourite NPCs. She’s been in so many families it’s not funny. By the way, I’ve started up a blog of my own – yes, another one, and I’ve just realised what hard work it is! I am looking forward to the next update from the lovely Marlee.
