Fast Lane Stuff Walkthrough

Next up are the new fashions and hairstyles that come with the pack. Lexi is already wearing one of the two new female hairdos (not counting the helmet one). She’s also wearing one of the two new pairs of heels for women. The second pair can be seen in the second pic (with the halter top dress).

Well, that’s it. As for what I think of the set, I like it, but I’m not sure it’s worth $20.00, unless you really like cars and Rockabilly stuff. The Intrigue set only has cars and clothing, so even though they advertised four sets in this stuff pack, you’re really only getting three: Rockabilly, Racing, and Luxury. And the Racing set is almost all deco items. The Rockabilly set is cool, but could do with some more furniture as well. The Luxury set is small but I like its classic lines — I know I’m going to be using that living room set a lot. Overall, there are some worthwhile items here, but they could have fleshed it out a bit more for the price.

Happy Simming!

  1. I think the best thing about the SP is the decor and the new vehicles … but definitely NOT worth $20. I haven’t been in the mood to play of late. Of course, I’m not sure it all has to do with me not being in a simming mood, or me not being in a creative mood. When I sim … I feel the need to blog. If I feel the need to blog, I feel the need to blog creatively. Since I’m lacking in the creativity department, I don’t feel like simming. It’s a vicious cycle. ;O) Great pics, jenba … as always!

  2. Love the decorations you can get with the Fast Lane SP! :D I really like the sofa/loveseat/chair especially. That would be SO AWESOME if they gave us cars our Sims could work on, like in TS2.

I loved that you showed 2 recolors with the automobiles too. Really showed how different they could all look. :D Oooo, okay, the motorcycle is SEXY!! *drools* They even have the Sims sitting on them properly! *is impressed* Can you have 2 people on the bike or only one?

I might like the new hairdo a bit better if the hairline was a bit lower down instead of leaving poor Lexi like she’s got a fivehead instead of a forehead. I like the second hairdo though! I’d love to know what the frell they were thinking of when they designed the men’s hairdo though. *boggles* If they were going for a 50’s look… well, I’m pretty certain I have never seen a man’s hair spiked up THAT high in old pictures!

I think the men’s shoes are supposed to be like penny loafers, which have since become more something women wear than men.

I’ll keep an eye for it to go on sale somewhere and snag it then, because yeah, for $20, it should have more to it than it does.

  3. Your captions cracked me up! Thanks for sharing! Hey, with the second girl hairstyle you showed, one could make a Katy Perry Sim, ha!

  4. I love that you’ve taken the time to do this – I’ve had to scour the catalogues and checkout what’s new for myself – wish I’d seen this first -I totally missed the new outfits! You’ve taken such lively photos too, perhaps EA should employ you as a sales rep!

  5. Thanks for taking your time to do this! I bought the pack even if wasn’t worth 20€ and hadn’t looked at the all new stuff yet. I like the gnome crossing sign too and the new sofa set. EA can’t do bangs very well, every hairstyle that includes them looks weird to me.
