Not Dead Yet

Hey, guys. Something has been bugging me the last couple of days. I don’t regret my decision to stop blogging, but my goodbye to you and Mt. Geneva was just too darned abrupt. So I’ve decided to do One Last Story.

I personally need a bit more closure, and I thought you guys might enjoy it, too. It’s going to be a humongous update — it will wrap up Fran, Maude, the Ravelos, and some other folks from Mt. Geneva’s past. Think of it as the Grand Finale. :-)

Thank you SO much for all of the comments and well wishes. I’ve said it many times before, and I’ll say it again: you guys ROCK.

    I’m sad that you’re leaving. Mt. Geneva was always my favorite blog (sorry to other blogs). I suppose I’ll wait till April 09.

    On the brighter side, grand finale!!!!!!! Hooray!!!!!! I bet it’ll be the Best Update EVER!!!!!!!!!

  9. A part of me thinks, oh yes! There’ll be a Grand Fianle and I can’t wait! But yheother part of me doesn’t want it to come so fast because I know that after that update you will leave us for a long long time….*sniff*

    oh- just a question: even though you said the website will be in archive mode, will all of the free sites on the side column dissapear? if so, i have alot of bookmarking to do!

  19. Thanks, guys! I finally have a weekend all to myself coming up, so I’m hoping to have the Grand Finale posted by next Monday. I hope you’ll enjoy it.

    Liz, to answer your question — I won’t be deleting any of my bookmarks, but I won’t be updating them, either. This blog will pretty much be frozen as is after my last post. And hi! Good to see ya! :-)

    The Sims 2 blogosphere will miss you greatly no matter what, Jen, but maybe with this ‘official’ grand finale it’ll be a bit easier for us all to get accustomed to the idea of no more Mt. Geneva.

Grand finale! i can’t wait to read it!!!! although i am a little depressed that the Franchesca diaries wont be updated anymore…that was by far one of the funniest, and best stories i have ever had the pleasure of reading. *i hope it has a great ending…* and anyway…i just wanted to say that i’m happy that ur giving us this update and that i cant WAIT to read it. also just wanted 2 say goodbye and that i’ll miss Mt.G loads(its my fav)

  28. Here’s a comment that has nothing to do with the current happenings: Grig is a cutie!!!!! There’s a pic of him punching Ana in Ravelo “The Fate of the Third Generation”. I can’t get over it! He’s just soo cute!!!!!
