Heading back downstairs, we enter the parlor, where the Dunnavants entertain their guests and enjoy the sounds of piano (Dr. D can play a mean waltz) and the harp (Mrs. D is just learning, but isn’t half-bad).
Across from the parlor is the study/library, where Dr. D does his reading, confers with his cohorts, records his finances, and ponders the questions of the universe. It’s also where his son Lucas likes to hang out, even though the nanny forbids it (she knows he likes to snoop around and get into the sweets jar).
Next we have the sunroom, favorite hang-out of the Dunnavant dog and cat. The cat in question, Simone, is perched on one of the sofas.
The sunroom is also home to Mrs. D’s parrot, Markita.
Let’s see how Charles is doing with those sandwiches, eh? Ah, here he is, in the dining room.

A door from the dining room leads into the butler’s pantry. Strangely enough, the Dunnavants don’t have a butler, but they do have a maid, nanny, and groom/groundskeeper.
From the butler’s pantry, we enter the kitchen, where Dr. D is preparing the afternoon tea.

Wow … this house is BIG! And it’s got so much DETAIL in it!! It certainly is something wonderful to look at and explore. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could step through our computer monitors to check it out?! I think it would be neat to wander around. Great job!!!

I think these are some of the, if not the prettiest pictures you’ve ever taken. And you know what a fan I am of your shots, Jen! My jaw literally dropped at the intro one, if you give it a bit of cloth roughness and add a frame it’d look like a perfect Victorian-era painting. Too gorgeous! @.@

Sometimes I wonder if people just make CC for you, everything always looks just PERFECT in your homes. The opening picture *floored* me when I first saw it, the rest, Whoa. ’nuff said.

Their kids are just oh-so adorable! (Ok, I haven’t really seen them properly yet but I EXPECT they’ll be adorable, lol).
Also, the mansion is gorgeous! It just goes to show how awesome a building can look with some carefully-selected CC and a good layout. But then again, your homes are always lovely! :D
