I’m Still Here…Mostly

Hey guys. I’m sorry for the lack of updates. Between buying a condo, packing up, working like mad, and rooting hard for a certain reality show contestant, I haven’t had as much time for my Sims. I do have a Ravelo update in the works, so look for that soon. I’m moving at the end of the month, so things will be crazy until then, but after that, I’ll have MUCH more time to work on my Sims stories. Thanks for hanging in there, and while you’re waiting for me to get off my butt and update already, make sure you check out the Legalos Legacy (“Confessions of an Heiress”) — Amy is posting some awesome stories over there!

    By the way, sorry Elliott got voted off (for your sake). My personal favorite is Taylor, and I like having a boy/girl showdown, but it would have been really awesome if it was a soul-patrol showdown.

  8. Wow Jen! Thanks for the props for the Legalos Legacy! I’m flattered! Hello to all Legalos fans over here! I’m a huge Jen fan (ALL of her families!) so we’re all in good company. And Cali and Robi can’t wait for more Ravelos! Good luck with the move Jen. Sounds like you got the condo! How exciting. I know you’re busy dragging everything into your backpack, right? Hope everything goes smooth, and until next time, I’m on the edge of my chair, waiting for my Ravelo fix!

    Kay – Those look like cool challenges! I’m tempted to try one. :-)

    Keely – I was hoping for an Elliott-Taylor showdown myself, but oh well. Hopefully Taylor will kick some McButt next week. ;-)

    E-Liz – The reality show I mentioned is American Idol. I’m a huge AI-junkie and totally fell in love with Elliott Yamin this year. He’s an awesome jazzy/soulful singer and just about the sweetest person to grace a TV screen. But he got voted off last week, third place. Major bummer.

    Amy – LOL, if only it were as easy as dragging everything into my backpack! Thanks for your encouraging words. And I LOVE THE LEGALOSES! :-D

  10. I love the Legalos legacy! That whole heirs-intervening thing is pretty damn cool.

    I love Katharine, actually, but I do not want her to win. I mean, I’m always like, “Oh, my pick for getting off is Katherine,” but then I hear her sing and I’m like “Damn, I forgot how good she was!” It’s too bad Elliott was voted off; especially, Paula luuuuuurved him. She had a major crush on him.

    I can’t wait for the Ravelo update. My fingers are trembling! I’m excited. Good luck with the move, and for your reality show contestant (which I’m guessing is from American Idol. I may be wrong, though).

    Personally he’s been my favorite since he auditioned. I love his attitude and (yes) I love his dancing. He’s always having so much fun performing. And I love his sound, he didn’t sound the same as everybody else!

    Katherine… Well, I’m always going, “I hope she’ll get voted off next” and then hearing her and going: “Wow, I forgot she was so spectacular!” In the end, I love her as a singer–she’s got this amazing voice and can really use it–but I love Taylor as a singer as well and he’s just a much better performer than she is.

  17. Hey guys! I’m still alive. Just moved into my new place this past weekend and will have internet by tomorrow night. I’m so out of the loop with Sims stuff — I hadn’t even heard about the Pets expansion yet! Crazy. Well, between my game being messed up for the month of April and then insanity occurring throughout May, I have fallen out of my Sims swing, but the creative urges are returning, plus I just plain miss you guys and your blogs, too, so I shall be getting back into things soon. I hope. Sorry for taking so long!

    And don’t get me started on American Idol. I could talk FOREVER. :-)

It is a historical challenge, and we all know how much you love historical stories! It is also based mainly on story-telling rather than gameplay, so it’s pretty easy (and fun) to do!   23. I’m glad to hear you like my challenge idea! I hope you give it a shot b/c I can just imagine all the great stories you can come up with! I’ve had a blast so far playing my families, and I have the first family’s post already up on my website! I can’t wait to hear how you’re doing with your simmies!

I have not started to tell my Sim tales, but in time I plan to make a blog filled with tales from my favorite houses!   28. Jen, believe it or not…. I’M BACK! And I hope you will be back soon, too :) I’ve finally finished school here in Germany and found time and fun in playing the Sims. So therefore I looked for a blogprovider who would NOT quit its service without further notice and found blogspace… and there it is, my new blog. Nope, not Baltimore Bay, but this time, it’s Pasota Hills! And I assume that there will be quite a lot to read about once I get my gameplay ready and started. Yes, you’ve guessed right, I’m beginning a new legacy. No expansion pack, no frills. Be bored by it if you want, but it caught my interest right away :)
    I hope you are soon done with all your real life moving in and out and will find some time for you blog soon, we are really missing you. Your’s is the only blog that I still visit regularly, in hope for new wonderful updates :) Hoping for them soon!
    But anyway, if you want, you can post my new blog under your links list, I’d be glad and hope I’ll get going soon myself!
