Ruby: That was the second — no, third — happiest day of my life.
Ginger: I bet I can guess the happiest.
Ruby: I bet you can!
Ginger: You look pretty sedate in that picture, though.
Ruby: Yeah, but on the inside? I was churning with excitement.
Ginger: I never would have guessed. You were the picture of serenity. It was a beautiful wedding, though. Nice of my dad to stop in, eh?
Ruby: Quite kind of him. I’m disappointed Grandmpa Marcel didn’t show up in his llama costume.
Ginger: He was there in spirit, cheering you on. “Vooooo, Ruby!”
Ruby: Ha! And what’s with my dad? He was in high spirits that day. I saw him clapping even after the ceremony was over.
Ginger: Um…I think that was because he saw my friend Shea wander into the…Enclosure.
Ruby: Oh, no!
Ginger: It’s OK, he couldn’t get past the energizers.
Ruby: Thank goodness. Still, they really need to keep that gate padlocked. I don’t trust that cow plant.
Ginger: I like cows.
Ruby: Cows are OK, but cow PLANTS? That’s a whole different ball game.
Ginger: I know, I studied them in botany. They’re extremely dangerous. But…I still like cows.
Ruby: One in particular…
Ginger: (dreamy sigh)
Ruby: But for awhile there I thought you might go for the llama.
Ginger: It was tempting. He looked really good out of his llama suit. And he was really flirty with me at the wedding.
Ruby: I wonder what got into him?
Ginger: Oh, I don’t know, maybe it was all the KISSING that was going on?
Ruby: Hey, come on….we were newlyweds! We were celebrating!
Ginger: And celebrating…and celebrating…
Ruby: Very funny.
Ginger: The limo was a nice touch.
Ruby: It was awesome!
Ginger: And the honeymoon?
Ruby: Way too short. Say, what did you do while we were gone? Did you invite Llama Shaun over?
Ginger: I thought about it. I was in the kitchen drinking a glass of milk, thinking about Shaun, when I had an epiphany.
Ruby: It was the milk, wasn’t it.
Ginger: I know it sounds crazy, but yes, it made me think of William. And suddenly I wanted to see him more than anything. I wanted the cow and not the llama.
Ruby: Crazy.
Ginger: But we had such a good time! We ate some leftover wedding cake, then sat in the hot tub until we were completely pruney.
Ruby: Pruney? Sounds romantic.
Ginger: It was, actually. William’s such a sweetheart.
Ruby: Well, I’m glad he’s nice to you. I truly am. It’s just too bad he’s kind of mean to everyone else.
Ginger: Yeah, in that respect he’s kind of like your dad.
Ruby: He really is. I’m surprised they don’t get along better.
Ginger: Your dad has a thing against cow mascots. You know him, he’s a llama through and through. He completely chewed me out one night when William was over.
Ruby: What? What did he say?

Oh my goodness! Fabulous update-BRAVO! I actually agree with Kay, Florida should definitely be the heir to the Shanleys. I really do hope that Florida and Kamea become best friends just like their mothers, Ruby and Ginger. Uh…I would die to play your sims!
Florida’s such a cute name! Hopefully both girls won’t have the cursed Shanley “weird-looking” genes! And hopefully Florida will be the better heiress, since she’s further down the Shanley line as far as generations go.
I love the Ruby/Ginger narration. Their relationship just comes through so well with it! Spencer is a hunk. And I love watching sims interact with the Llama and Cow mascots. One of my sims is currently woo-ing (and woohoo-ing) the cow mascot (among others).. and it’s amusing to watch them kiss, lol. Florida and Kamea are both gorgeous names. Here’s hoping they’ll get along as well as their mothers do. Hooray for Shanley updates!

Because, you know, at that point they probably won’t even remember how they’re related. D’you know what I mean by that?

Just letting you know I’ve started a new Legacy family. :D The old one got fubared by bugs and glitches. So I decided to be a bit different from my regular families: instead of making a custom neighbourhood I started it in Pleasantview, and I’m really going for the points this time! Point in fact (no pun intended) I had my founder (Alice Penny, Virgo Fortune) go after one of the local male Grand Vampires, count Andrerjz Williamoff. He moved in, she got pregnant (vamps count for NPC points), and then I had him take a walk in the sunshine so I could get the ‘burnt by sun’ ghost color. After that I moved in an Elderly lover of hers so the kid will be taken care of whilst she’s out chasing her lifetime want of the top of the Athletic career. :D I’ll probably have them get engaged and married before he dies so there’s maximum money coming in.
Hello Jen. I started reading your very first entries and couldn’t stop reading until I had read of all them! (Which was quite a lot, I must say.) I have to give you credit. You’re a wonderful story-teller and really keep me hooked. I love your style of writing. Somehow you manage to keep it interesting even though we all know legacies can get repetitive. (Marriage, birth, growth, college, job, marriage, birth, growth, college, job…..) Anyway I just had to compliment and thank you for your wonderful stories! And I love the Ruby/Ginger narration, it’s great!

I have Sims 2 for the gamecube. It’s not the same. My neice (who is living with me at the moment) has it for her pc. I love it. Don’t bother with the console games. Enjoyable update as always Jen.
