  1. Oo! I have a theory on how you got that picture, because it reminds me of something going on in one of my houses. The stove caught on fire, but even after the fireman put it out, the graphics were still there. Then you swapped the stove’s former place with a counter/breadbox? My Pleasant house (not Daniel and Mary-sue.. Daniel and Jennifer as kids with their parents!) has a stove rumbling with fire graphics.. It amuses me when someone cooks on it, or better yet, cleans the stove top. I could be wrong about my theory, am I? :P

  2. Heehee…it’s actually a microwave! It was turned into a breadbox by Arenaria over at The Sims Resource. One of my Sims put a cup o’ ramen in it, and bam! Flaming breadbox of doom! I’m easily amused by stuff like that.

Great theory, though, DylanTK, and I bet I’d be just as amused by the fiery stove!

Oh, and DylanTK — how did you get Daniel and Jennifer back with their parents? Did you use SimPE and stuff? I haven’t played many of the Maxis families, but that sounds cool.

  3. I’ve got most of the pre-made Maxis families as one generation back. If you search in the family/house category on the Sims 2 site and have ‘SimPE’ as one of the requirements you ought to find them as well. There’s everyone from the Goths (Mortimer has a very cool aunt) to the Caliente sisters as toddlers.

  4. Is it smaller than a breadbox? Noooo!
Is it bigger than a breadbox? Yeeees!
Is it a breadbox on fire? Of course! :D
XD Anyway… a breadbox on fire. Maybe someone thought matches would make the bread more flavorful?
    It’s an important lesson, though.
    Ramen + Breadbox = Explosion.

  6. No problem, Blu. Even duplicates of your comments are fun to read. ;-)

Joan and Kay, thanks for the info on the Maxis families!

  7. Actually, I recreated all the original Sims 1 families how I thought they should look. With their original personalities (Since they changed a few for the TS2 conversion), and what I believed their aspiration should be. Bella, for example, is a fortune sim.. Not a yucky romance sim! Mort’s still knowledge, though.
