I had so much fun playing with Mark, Blaine, and Toffee, that I stuck around their house for a long time and took a frack-ton of pics:
Here are Mark and Blaine playing a super-intense boss battle in the basement:
Mark: We’re doomed, man! Game over! GAME OVER!
The boys took a break from gaming to enjoy some winter activities. Mark made a snow angel:
And I was thrilled when Blaine built a hockey snowman!
Blaine: Hey Mark, check it out! It’s Frosty the Goalie! Heh heh. Mark?
Mark: Doot de doo…I like igloos…
I also sent them to the park for some ice-skating:
I didn’t build this park — it’s one of Johnnywr’s that he built for the world, and since it’s lovely and I don’t enjoy building parks, I kept it. :) I added a Christmas tree and a heat lamp, but that’s it.
A deer wandered into the scene…I don’t pay much attention to them as they’re usually leaping down the sidewalk or something, but this time the deer was just having a leisurely stroll.
Mark observed the deer curiously, and the deer didn’t seem to mind. In fact, he came closer and seemed to be observing Mark in turn.
I wanted Mark to pet the deer, but the deer suddenly darted off towards “home” (wherever that is), kicking up the snow beneath his hooves.
Meanwhile, Toffee CANNOT jump down from something without landing like this:
OOF!
And she’s not even Clumsy!
Toffee: This must be what a hangover feels like.
Even though she was Mark’s mom’s cat, she seems quite attached to Mark and likes to sleep on his bed.
STRRRRRRETCHHH!!!
One night, much to my surprise, an alien showed up.
I thought I had a mod that got rid of them, but it was just a “No abductions” mod. :-P I watched to see what would happen…
You’d BETTER not go into that house, mister!!!
Are you studying Mark while he sleeps?? CREE-PEE!!!
Oh. I see. You’re interested in shrubbery. Out of all the things on this planet, THAT’S what you find fascinating??
I have no idea who is in that taxi down the street, but they’ve gotta be freaking out right about now…
Not long after that first alien showed up in Mark’s yard, I spotted another one creeping around the school.
This time he appeared to study a bicycle, which seemed to be a step up from shrubbery, but no…the subject of his intense study was actually the bike RACK. Hrm.
Alien-with-unpronounceable-name #2: Wait until my boss hears about this one!
That’s it for now! Until next time, Happy Simming! :)
I hope you had a great vacation! I LOVE the cat’s facial expressions. Hilarious. I’m going to start watching my animals more closely.
Thanks, Kelsey! :) My vacation was very relaxing, and it was great to get some sunshine and warmth (I’m so ready for winter to be OVER!). You should definitely zoom in and watch your pets sometimes — they can be pretty entertaining. :)
Toffee! I don’t even like cats! Quit stealing my heart! Somuchlove! xoxo
Heehee! :)
Awwwww, I so want that cat. Pixelated pets are so much better than real ones (my fingers agree, they’re still healing from Operation Worm The Cats. Vicious little sh —- er such and such. Fishface is good as, just eats his like a good boy, that other thing though, …). The house looks pretty darn cool, too, although Blaine’s room is just a little hard on the eyes. How the heck can he sleep in there? Great update, Jen! Did you have a good vacation?
You have a cat named Fishface? That is so awesome! :-D Sorry to hear your other cat hurt your hand, though – yikes! Good point about Blaine’s room — I might have gone overboard on the wallpaper. ;-p My vacation was lovely, thank you! Good food and sunshine, what more could one want? :)
Nah, his name is actually Trouble (suits it), but Fishface is one of his current nicknames, along with Fat Barrel, and Lard Rolls, and others that I really can’t post on the internet :-)
Yaaaaay, Mark and Blaine’s house!! And Toffee – the cutest SimCat ever!
I love the basement. It’s the perfect hangout for these dudes.
Thank you, Sara-love! :) I’m partial to the basement, too! :D
