Theater Trio House

This rustic-modern beach house is where friends and business partners Jeromy Stearns, Paolo Gil, and Shannon Milbrandt (introduced here) live. And since all their names are a bit much to type every time, I’ll just call them the “Theater Trio” from now on. ;-)

Theater Trio House

It’s located on Timberline Beach, next to Uncle Elvis’s house (#1 & #2 on the map).

And like Elvis’s house, it’s a beach/vacation house that the owners could no longer afford, so they sold it to the Trio.

Since they just moved in a couple of Sim-months ago, and the place was already furnished, they haven’t changed it too much; they’ve added some art and knick-knacks here and there, but only a few pieces, as they felt the simplicity of the place was a nice contrast to the busy-ness of the theater.

They have a goldfish named Molière, after one of Jeromy’s favorite playwrights.

The guys share a room — they didn’t change it too much from how the original inhabitants had decorated it. They don’t really spend much time at the house, except to sleep and shower! But when they do want to relax, it’s perfect for that.

Shannon ended up changing her room quite a bit, as the master bedroom was basically a blank slate. Since she loves black and white with punches of color, I tried to make it artsy and dramatic, but also comfortable and a little bit feminine. I had fun in here!

Since Shannon knows how to sew, she made her own draperies and pillows…

…and as she’s handy with a hammer and nails, she built her own vanity/closets.

That’s it for their house! Next up I’ll introduce their business.

    • *blush* Many thanks, Kelsey! :) If you don’t mind CC, I would be happy to share whichever ones you want! I also plan on re-doing some with little-to-no-CC to share on my Tumblr at some point, too (mostly the community lots like the church, city hall, etc.)

  1. Ooooh, nice! Nice and cozy to the max! I’ve invested in Pets and Seasons now, so I think it’s safe to say that I’m truly re-hooked, and I was so chuffed to see that sims have no reaction to the weather unless they’re actually out in it, since that was one of my pet hates from Sims 2. Oh, and skating on ponds!

    • LOL — you do sound good and re-hooked! :) Skating on ponds is pretty darned awesome, isn’t it? One of my favorite things about the Seasons EP! I love Pets, too — it’s one of the EPs I couldn’t live without. I get attached to those little critters. Hope you enjoy! ;)

  2. I am such a fan of this house!! It’s just so homey and cosy and lovely! and Shannon’s bedroom is to die for!! I love the home-made vanity/closet (I have to steal that idea!) – any girl would love to have that.

    • Thanks so much, Sara! :D I’m so glad you like the vanity/closet — most of the time I just plop a dresser in a bedroom and call it a day, but I thought Shannon should have something a little different! :)

    • Kimmi!!!! It’s great to see you! Thanks so much for your lovely comment. :D I need to get over to your blog and get caught up on Honeycomb Valley!!

  3. Just did some catching up, OMG your hood is looking amazing. I’ve really enjoyed your posts.

  4. Awww, yes, still very fond of this house, and even more now, that we got to know better its inhabitants (and specially Jeromy! <3)
I love how Shannon made her own room, so glamour and dramatic, but also so personal and with her little talented pixel hands!
I must have already squeed over Molière, but let's squeeeeeee again! And these flowerbeds! *drool* Wooooooooooooot!
