Minnesota Rest Stop

A rest stop in Minnesota on the first day of our road trip to North Carolina. The trees are barely starting to bud. It’s April 25th, but it could just as easily be November 25th. Not very springlike.

A rest area in Illinois. The grass is so lush I have to lie down in it. Looking up, I see blue sky and white blossoms. Ahh, spring! There you are.
